The Shire of Calanais Nuadh invite you to experience life in the Middle Ages. Have fun learning through living history displays and demonstrations of chivalry and pageantry. A full schedule of performances will be posted at the gateway to the medieval village. Don't miss the following demostrations:

Defense of the Lands - Men at Arms, Thrown Weapons, and Combat Archery.

Caring for the Populace -  Techniques of how and what foods were served and the use of herbs and medicines.

Craftsmen - Making needed things like textiles, scrolls, and utensils.
