Board President Receives Award
Renae Hammon received the Spirit of Rolla Award during the 90th Annual Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet and Awards Celebration January 30, 2010.
Hammon is a long time member of the business community whose volunteer efforts seem to come so naturally. For many years Renae has taken the lead on organizing the annual Phelps County Fair of which she serves as president. She continues to be proactive in her desire to build the fair and make it a true Rolla/Phelps County asset. Renae has been a member of the Phelps County Fair Board for 18 years and the president for the past three years.
Hammon is no stranger to the endless hours of work that being an entrepreneur takes as she has owned businesses in the Rolla community as well as other communities surrounding Rolla. When Renae isn't working or volunterring, she enjoys country dancing, camping, biking, and spending time with her grandson.
