Agriculture Building Exhibits
In 2020, we decided to come up with a place that would showcase Phelps County Agriculture. Since then, 4-H and FFA groups, local businesses and Extension have all brought interesting and fun displays to the fair. Make sure you stop by the agriculture building....you never know what you may see, learn or find!
We are excited to announce two of our speakers this year that will be sharing their knowledge with fairgoers:

Master Gardener: Dwaine Yoder
Saturday, August 5 at 6:45 pm
I have been gardening in the Ozarks since moving here in 2005 with my family. I’m originally from northern Illinois. I got my interest in gardening from my parents and grandmother. We took many trips to the Chicago Botanical gardens before moving to Missouri. I am an avid outdoorsman. I enjoy being outside as much as possible, whether its hunting, fly fishing, foraging, growing gardens, working on the family farm, or just relaxing - you can find me outside. I have been part of the master gardener program since 2019 and am continuing to learn as much as I can about wild herbs, foraging, and growing many interesting plants that people say “you can’t grow that here”. I like the challenge of growing strange and unique plants and teaching others how to do so as well. I have recently expanded my hobby and started selling at local farmers markets.
