The name of the band is in honor of Jim Van Kirk,(James dad and Braden & Josie’s Grandpa.) He heldmusic events at his and Peggy’s shop every Fridayand he called it Lone Pine Jamboree.Band Members: James Van Kirk, lead guitar, bassguitar and vocals; Braden Van Kirk, bass guitar, leadguitar and vocals; Josie Van Kirk, rhythm guitar andvocals; Randy Richardson (aka Whitey), drums andharmony.James Van Kirk is from Licking, Missouri. He hasbeen playing on stage for 37 years with different bands. He sings 1970s country, outlaw country, old rock, gospel, bluegrass and even some older country. Braden Van Kirk lives in Rolla, Missouri. He has been playing on stage for 17 years. Braden sings about every genre there is, including Rock, Country, Blues and Bluegrass. Josie Van Kirk lives in Edgar Springs, Missouri. She has been playing music regularly since she was 12 years old. She sings a wide variety of songs. Whether you love rock & roll, ballads, outlaw country, punk, or bluegrass, listen for a while and she will sing a song you know! Josie also writes and performs original songs. Randy Richardson AKA Whitey, lives in Bucyrus, Missouri. He started playing drums for The Leland Martin Band in 1986 and played for 20 plus years with that band. He played 7 years at First Day Free Will Baptist in Cabool and is coming up on 3 years at Souls Harbor Church in Houston.
