I am Nathan Vegas, a solo cover artist and singer/songwriter, born and raised in Phelps County. I specialize in many genres including Country, Southern Rock, and Blues Rock. Over the course of the last 12 years, I have had multiple performances at many festivals, sports bars, private events, both as a solo artist and in past bands. As a solo artist, I specialize in the use of looper pedals and vocal equalizers, giving myself a unique one-man-band sound. I have opened for several band and artists, including Shaman’s Harvest, Framing The Red, and Smile Empty Soul.
 
I started taking piano lessons at the age of 11, and then I picked up the guitar a couple of years later. Although I have been singing my whole life, incorporating the instrumental aspect completed the beginning to my musical career. At 13, I had my first performance at a dinner theater event, hosted at Salem Avenue Baptist Church, right here in Rolla, Missouri. Since then, I annually perform at our local Applebee’s in honor of Veteran’s Day Celebration, as well as other events held for our active and retired military personnel. Alongside my musical performance career, I also  host guitar lessons for children, as well as teaching side skills on how to take their craft to the next level to ensure they can create their own story, as I have my own.
