Ribbon Cutting

Phelps County Fair Board and Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce were present during a recent ribbon cutting ceremony held at the fairgrounds June 22, 2009 to inaugurate the new restroom and shower facility.
Many improvements have been made to the Phelps County fairgrounds over the past two years. The Board strives to improve the grounds to make the grounds safer and more pleasing for kids age 0 - 100. In 2008 a new larger livestock barn was constructed for the youth in agriculture. In 2009 a much needed larger restroom and shower facility was erected. Plans for 2010 is to add onto The Grove outdoor stage. Plans include a larger stage and attached dressing room.
It's support of the community that make all these improvements possible.
